Concordia Sagittaria
Located between Altino and Aquileia, Iulia Concordia became a Roman colony during the Late- age. During the Late-Roman Empire period, when Diocleziano was reorganizing the warlike production to counter the barbaric advances, Concordia hosted an important factory of arrows: hence the name of Sagittaria.
In Concordia you can still admire numerous Roman finds besides the Cathedral of Santo Stefano which represents a fantastic testimony of the first Christian architecture and it is one of the most interesting archaeological sites in Northern Italy.
The beautiful Concordia is only 20 km far from Caorle: during the day you can also add a visit to Portogruaro, a medieval town of great historical charm.

Caorle
Caorle is one of the most fascinating towns of the Northern Adriatic Sea, a beautiful village which maintained its ancient wonders unaltered: colored small-sized houses, traditional trails, old fishermen’s huts with roofs of cane, a beautiful cathedral in Romanesque style and the picturesque Madonna dell’Angelo Sanctuary at the end of the cliff in contact with the sea water.
We recommend a visit to the National Museum of Maritime Archaeology, which is very interesting and also popular with children.
Caorle has a splendid pedestrian historical center that gets lively every night between the various fish restaurants, artisan gelaterias, kiosks on the beach and characteristic shops.
